Well, I'm still figuring out the best way for online shopping for people who live interstate and internationally (Sorry, life got a bit hectic. Not only that but that blasted heatwave certainly didn't help any matters). There's a chance you might have seen some helpers of mine with a big poster of Mad Town in front of their stall at an Adelaide local market. If you happen to see them at Gepps Cross Markets, the Originial Open Market (Beach Rd, Christies) or at the Fisherman's Markets (Port Adelaide), you can grab a hardcopy of Mad Town (with your choice of a signed or unsigned copy) with a free coupon of the e-book Ramblings of an Unfocused Mind for around $24.95. Which isn't too bad if you consider that's over 100,000 words.
If you couldn't afford the book on the day, or you've heard about Mad Town through another means, don't despair. You can still obtain a copy from a book store. Currently, Mad Town is being stocked at Dymocks in Glenelg and Collins Booksellers in Edwardstown. It's a few more dollars, but at least you have another option available for purchasing your copy when it suits you. I plan on getting Mad Town in a few more book stores in the near future and this blog will be updated with more info.
I will also mention that my helpers won't be at the same market every week (there's not enough of them to spread around), the plan is once I have things up and running more smoothly, to blog in advance where they'll be. Tomorrow (19/01), they'll be at the Christies Beach open market.
