My apologies for being missing over the last few weeks. I certainly intended to be all over this website with regular blog posts, but unfortunately life took over (well not life, more so my day job left me utterly drained). However, personal circumstances have now changed and I now find myself with more time to devote to this blog and writing the next instalment of The Fynian Fable (hooray!).
I now have a twitter account which I had previously been reluctant to create, but this is the social media age and as a self published author going it alone, I need to try every avenue available. If you decide to follow me, you're likely to find I've tweeted an inspirational quote or some useful information about my writing.
Speaking of writing, did you know that Smashwords.com's read an ebook week is happening right now? This is an awesome idea where for a week (March 2-8) indie authors heavily discount their ebooks. Why am I telling you this? Well, Mad Town is going to be free for a limited time. That's right folks, I said FREE. I'm a little unsure if I'll keep it at that price for the entire week (it definitely will remain free until March 5 perhaps until the 8th). The reason I'm doing this is because I want to promote Smashwords (they really are a fantastic site) and because I'd like for my book to be shared and for word to get around. So please, download it for yourself, share on facebook or email the link to your friends.
If you're already a fan, please feel free to post a review on goodreads.com, amazon.com, smashwords.com or anywhere else you'd like to, it all helps.
My helpers are still going to markets and will be attending the Christies Beach open Market on the third Sunday of this month with copies of Mad Town for sale. Copies are also being stocked at Burnside Village's dymocks bookstore too.
Now, I need to head off but I'll leave you with a quote which I'm quite fond of and might give you a little courage one day:
"Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself."
